Getting there

Nové Město na Moravě is very accessible from both Prague and Brno. In addition to public transport, you can use shuttle buses for free. If you are travelling by car, check the current availability of parking spaces in advance.

Shuttle Transport

You can take a free shuttle to Nové Město na Moravě. Buses will run from Žďár nad Sázavou and also from the direction of Tři Studně.

Connections between Žďár nad Sázavou and Vysočina Arena (NMNM hospital parking)

• Line 1: Boarding place train station (in front of AUTO... store)
• Line 2: Boarding place OC Libušín
• Boarding places marked on the map

Connection between Fryšava and Vysočina Arena (snow reservoir turnaround)

• Line 3: Boarding places Fryšava, Tři studně, Vlachovice (marked on the map)

Buses will depart at intervals of 5 to 10 minutes.

Tip: Leave for the races in time. The standard travel time is 15 minutes, but during the traffic peak before the races, it can be double.

Train

An ideal option. There are direct train connections from both Prague and Brno to Žďár nad Sázavou. From the train station, you can take a free bus to Nové Město na Moravě. We recommend buying train tickets in advance on the České dráhy website.

Buses (Travel Agencies)

Wet variant: Medin Parking (reservation only), JZC Maršovice Parking, and Nezvalova Parking.

Car

In Žďár nad Sázavou, use the parking areas near the sports hall and in the speed skating arena, from where a free bus will take you to NMNM. In case of bad weather (from 7th to 11th February), parking will be on Novoměstská road.
